由广东省住房城乡建设厅、教育厅、文化厅、体育局、旅游局联合主办的“中国南粤古驿道文化创意大赛”自发布以来，得到了各大专院校设计专业师生和设计行业从业人员的积极响应。作为大赛的承办单位，广东省“三师”专业志愿者委员会、省建筑设计研究院会同第一站举办地台山市人民政府，在众多参赛作品中挑选出第一批入围作品，于2017南粤古驿道定向大赛首站举办当日在台山海口埠文化楼正式展出，吸引了众多当地民众和参赛运动员观赏，得到了社会各界人士的高度赞扬。
'The Cultural Innovation Contest of South China Historical Trail' co-organized by Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangdong Province, Department of Education of Guangdong Province, Department of Cultural Guangdong Province, Administration Sports Of Guangdong Province and Tourism Administration of Guangdong Province, has been supported by the professionals from various fields. Shortlisted works had been chosen to exhibit at the Haikou port building of Taishan.
